Influencer Pricing Calculator

Find out what an influencer post, Reel, TikTok or YouTube video should cost. Brands get a fair price range and a quick check of any quote; creators get a rate card they can send to brands.

How to use the pricing calculator

  1. Choose your side. Pick Brand to check what to pay, or Creator to see what to charge and get a ready-made rate card.
  2. Describe the creator. Platform, followers, content format and niche are enough for a first estimate.
  3. Add real numbers for a sharper estimate. Average views per post and engagement rate move the price up or down. If you don’t know the engagement rate, get it from our engagement rate calculator.
  4. Add the deal terms. Usage rights, exclusivity, whitelisting and the number of deliverables all change the price. As a brand, enter the quote you received to see whether it is fair.

How the estimate is calculated

The calculator starts from 2026 market rate bands for an Instagram post in a niche with average demand:

Account sizeFollowersTypical rate per post
Nano1K–10K$50 – $250
Micro10K–100K$250 – $1,500
Mid100K–500K$1,500 – $5,000
Macro and larger500K+$5,000 – $12,000

Within each band the price grows with the follower count. Then the calculator applies:

  • Platform. YouTube costs about 1.7× Instagram because videos take longer to produce; TikTok about 0.85×.
  • Niche. Advertisers pay more for audiences with buying power: Tech and SaaS 2.5×, Finance 2.2×, Beauty and Fashion 1.2×, Lifestyle and Entertainment 1.0×.
  • Format. A Reel costs more than a feed post, a Story less, a YouTube integration about half of a dedicated video.
  • Engagement. An engagement rate well above the median for the account’s size raises the price by up to 30%; a weak one lowers it by up to 20%.
  • Views. If you enter average views, the result is cross-checked against the median cost per view in real paid deals.
  • Deal terms. Usage rights, exclusivity and whitelisting are added on top; three or more deliverables get a 10% bundle discount.

Format, usage-rights and exclusivity multipliers are InfluencerDB assumptions. You can see every step in the breakdown table under the result.

Is the quote fair?

Enter the quote as a brand and the calculator compares it with the estimated range: below the range is a good deal, inside it is fair, above it means there is room to negotiate. If you also entered views, you see the price per 1,000 views next to the median for creators of the same size. That is often the clearest argument in a negotiation.

What makes influencer rates go up or down

  • Real reach, not followers. Two accounts with the same follower count can differ in views by ten times.
  • Audience location and buying power. Audiences with more purchasing power, for example in the US, UK and Western Europe, usually command higher rates.
  • Production effort. Scripted video with editing costs more than a photo post.
  • Rights and restrictions. The longer you use the content in ads, and the longer the creator can’t work with competitors, the higher the fee.
  • Proof of results. Creators with case studies and stable sales results can charge above the band.

Frequently asked questions

How much should I pay a micro-influencer?

On Instagram, a micro creator with 10,000–100,000 followers typically charges $250–$1,500 per post, depending on niche, engagement and real reach. Use the calculator with the creator’s actual numbers to narrow it down.

Why is YouTube more expensive than Instagram or TikTok?

YouTube videos take more time to script, film and edit, and they keep getting views for months. That is why rates on YouTube are around 1.7 times higher than for an Instagram post with the same audience size.

Should usage rights cost extra?

Yes. A standard fee covers a post on the creator’s account. If the brand wants to run the content as ads or on its own channels, that is a separate right with its own price, usually tied to how long it lasts.

How should I price my content as a creator?

Start from your average views and engagement rate, not your follower count. Price usage rights, exclusivity and whitelisting separately, and offer a bundle instead of lowering your single-post rate. The Creator mode builds a rate card you can copy into an email.

Are these exact prices?

No. The result is an estimate based on 2026 market data. Real quotes depend on the creator’s audience, demand and the details of the brief. Use the range as a starting point for negotiation.
